Form Validation

Hi Everybody,

This is a snippet from a form validation script.

[I]if (document.contForm.fName.value == “”)
{
errorMsg += “ntFirst Name t- Enter your First Name”;
}
[/I]

What do the “switches?” mean? or better yet, how am I supposed to use them, so I will know?

“tFirst Name”
[I]( “First Name” looks like JUST the text description that would be found on the mail form page… like [B]First Name: [Input Name=”who”][/B]. Is that all it refers to?)[/I]

I ought to ask this too. Is there a searchable place where I could have found out what these tags are? Where would that be?
