I read the brief article linked to from web-developer about microsoft making a “friendly” ajax implementation for the world.
Among the features it lists:

Doesn’t that actually rule out it working in IE? Maybe the amount of code bloat and hacks they will have to implement to work around the defects in IE will clue them in that they have the crappiest browser on the market. There is always the fun of watching IE grind to a halt with the oversized code since the JS engine is slower than molasses when you ask it to walk and chew gum at the same time.
