Ok, I’ve got a bit of a dilemma (well, somewhat) on my hands.
A few months ago a childrens’ museum sent a request to my college for someone to do a website for em’. They want something fun and attractive for kids.
Anyway, I took the job, and started working.. I did around 10 different concepts, but NONE of them worked. I’ve never done anything where the userbase was primarily kids, so I was at a loss. I do mostly modern minimalistic artsy sites, as well as business-focused contemporary layouts.
Moving on, I need some help.
I need someone to either come up with a layout, or come up with a basic concept for me. This isn’t a pay job – I’m not charging them, and if they try and pay me I’ll refuse ? If you’ve got the time, help out a fellow designer who just wants to improve the quality of the web. You will get credit in the footer (something along the lines of “website design by you and Mechanical Designs”), but I don’t really see them having a link back to us in a links page or anything ?
I don’t need code – Just a photoshop concept. I have no problem coding sites.
Anyway, the site will be static, and needs to be 56k friendly. I’ll post images and info later when I have some free time.
