Letting users customize wepages

I’m trying to find a way that lets users customize my webpage according to their specifications, for example: they can choose what colour the background will be, what size the fonts will be, etc.

I know I can do that using DHTML…
<input type=”button” value=”Change background colour” onClick=”body.bgColor=’yellow'” />
The above code basically changes the background colour to yellow. Only problem is that the background colour will go back to the original colour if the page is reloaded or you navigate to a different page. Any way to make it so that the background colour stays yellow even if the page is reloaded?

Thanks!
