Opening a link and adding text to the new link’s body

I am trying to open a new link and have it also add a DIV to the body. The way that I have it is:

var pwin=window.open(‘url.html’,’test’,config=’scrollbars=yes,toolbar=yes,location=yes,resizable=yes’);

pwin.document.write(document.getElementById(“newResults”).innerHTML);

but this over writes everything on ‘url.html’ and just shows the “newResults.” I am not sure how to go around this. Is there a different way of doing this?

@KorJul 05.2005 — try:

var mydiv= pwin.document.createElement('div');

mydiv.setAttribute('id','newResults');

pwin.document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].appendChild(mydiv);
