converting a string to an object name?

Hi

In a code like bellow I get the error : “myObject is null or not an object”
for (i=0; i < aNumber; i++){
myObject = “myObject”+a;
myObject.style.visibility = “visible”;
}
I tried myJavaObject = new Object(myObject); but to no effect.

and I should say that I have the object there – I mean an object with the generated name -. Seems that I need a way to convert a string to an object.

@Khalid_AliJul 04.2005 — you should use

document.getElementById();
<i>
</i>for (i=0; i &lt; aNumber; i++){
myObject = document.getElementById("myObject"+a);
myObject.style.visibility = "visible";
}

Success!
