I’m using a combination stylesheet and styles on my page.
I’ve gone from lining up my layers by percentage (1st one is left:12% and is 12% wide, one to the right of it is left: 24%, width: 50%, etc.) to fixing the layers by pixel ‘left’ and ‘width’ and back again and am having one heck of a time getting them to ”fit” together. There must be some obsure thing in CSS or other place that I’ve missed, or something really simple that I’ve just overlooked.
I’ve put everything in one stylesheet and back again with no luck..
Can anyone help? The layers seem to kinda line up in mozilla & firefox, but not in IE at all (which tells me that I’m not really seeing them right in the other browsers.. and if I look closely, the center layer – content – is overlapping a little with the header…. and the right one is not tight with the header and content….). So the only layers that are correct are the header and the leftmost one (called ‘details’)
Also, in IE, the background images come in for a half-second then go away. Wassup with that?
Something’s going on here and I just can’t seem to see it. Here’s where I put the page:
