background alignment

Hi. Im new to CSS so I would think this is possible but i don’t know for sure and how. I would like my fixed background on a page to be aligned from the bottom left, so that you could always see the bottom left corner of the background image. I would think it should be possible with simple background-position, but i dont know. Any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks a lot.
