Hi, I am new to JS and have a new (to me) website that I am updating. I made 2 changes in the script. they were small things (adding one product and moving a product from one category to another) and it should load. However it refuses to run. I checked both new pieces separately and the script won’t run any changes I make, so I think it’s formatting. I have run it through script checkers and DW itself. I have Macromedia Studio MX 2004.
I had one person who kinda knows JS tell me this: ” I think you are losing the binary format of the file, looking at the javanew.js and javaold.js the javaold is in binary format while the javanew is in normal text format, there should be an option for such upload/download in your dreamweaver client, you will also need a binary reader I believe. “
OK, I cannot find any option in DW or even in it’s search for binary. I know it’s an option in my ftp client (WinSCP3) which I set it for, but it didn’t help either. how do I solve this issue????? thanks!!
