Testing Server Question

Me so Newbie!

Ok, so I just installed Apache (but haven’t messed with the settings) for the first time thanks to help from the forum.
I got my dreamweaver Testing Server all set up, or so I thought.

None of my includes are showing on the testing server…but on the net, they work fine. The pages show when previewing in browser, minus the includes.

Here is the fully functional file on the net:

I can’t figure out why the includes won’t show on the testing server…but I’m so new I’m sure I left out some simple step…

Testing Server Settings:
Model: PHP/MySql
Access: Local/Network
Testing Server Folder: C:Program FilesApache GroupApache2htdocstesting
[url]http://localhost/testing/[/url]

Also, the page only displays in IE…both Firefox and Netscape display the code source…so I know something isn’t set up right.

@ShrineDesignsJun 17.2005 — it sounds to me that php was not installed correctly, read and follow the installation process in install.txt to a "T", if you still incounter problems, post your httpd.conf and php.ini files, and i'll give it a look

I've literally only installed Apache, MySql, and Dreamweaver...do I need to install something else for PHP??

Is that what you're talking about installing to a T, a PHP something or other that I haven't installed?

What else do I need to install?

It is a separate component and is not part of Apache or mySQL.
