Tick appropriate checkbox depending on which other checkbox is ticked

Hi

I am returning 2 columns of checkboxes according to how many records are in the database. One column is called Chck1 and the other Chck2. Checkboxes in both columns will have exactly the smae value. I want to be able to check that if a box is checked in Column 2 (Chck2) then the corresponding checkbox next to it in column1 will be ticked automatically.

So if Chck2 with a value of 1234 is checked, then Chck1 with the same value should be checked.

The ids’ of these checkboxes also correspond to the value from the db.

I hope this make sense.

How's that? There is no column element(tag) to be named. And checkboxes can not have the same name....Can you detail a little bit and show us your HTML code?
