Hello you guys i have a form that is pulling 120 products and each has a checkbox that you can check and when submit is clicked, the I am trying to display the checked items. Here is my php for the display of my records:
[code=php]
$prosubcatquery = “SELECT DISTINCT product, sku, price, recommended, platform FROM tblProducts WHERE category = ‘$category’ AND subcategory = ‘$subcategory'”;
$prosubcatresult = mssql_query($prosubcatquery);
$procountrows = mssql_num_rows($prosubcatresult);
while($prosubline = mssql_fetch_array($prosubcatresult)) {
echo “<input type=”checkbox” value=”” . $prosubline[“price”] .”” name=”” . $prosubline[“sku”] .”” />n”;
echo $prosubline[“product”];
}
all the checkboxes are generated nicely and now I came to a hault. How should i display the posted checboxes on a results page? should I check for each and all the recordds in the database to see if they have been set? sample:
[code=php]
if (isset(fieldname) {
echo “fieldnameanditsinformation”;
}
I think this would be way too much if I do it like this. Is there a shorter way that you guys can think off…should I put the value of the form fields into an array? any suggestions are welcomed ? ?
