Object prototype – Javascript

Hi everybody

I am creating a prototype that add property to an object in javascript.

I want to know is there a way to hide that prototype when i am doing a for in loop…

exemple

Object.prototype._test = function()
{
this._name = “jack”;
};

var _o = new Object();
for(var i in _o)
{
alert(i+” = “+_o[i]+”, type = “+typeof(_o[i]));
}
