ID, TITLE, IE and FF – what is what?

How does the whole ID/TITLES for links and images works in IE and FF?

Can someone explain it to me?

Thanks!

@felgallMay 25.2005 — The ID is what you use to reference the object from stylesheets and Javascript.

The TITLE is what you want to appear in a yellow box in front of the page when your visitor moves the mouse over the content.
