Approve Registration Via Email

Hey All…

What I have…I have a registration form on the web site just now – Gets email address etc from the user, and when they click submit, it sets the verified column in database to false.

What I’ve been doing, is manually sending an email to new registrants, and checking the email address – this obviously aint the best way to do it.

So, what I’m looking for, is how to get the ‘system’ to do it. ie, when they press submit, it sends an email with a link in it to a page that will change the status of that user.

    How do I get it to send the email with the link in it?

  • 2.

    Whats the best way to go about the page where the link will go to – when the page is loaded with the user ID in the URL to change the status?
