ctrl-z feature with TextArea

I have a TextArea & a listBox in a form. If i type something in the TextArea & then change the focus to someOther element in the form, I add something to the ListBox ( via the onchange event for that TextArea). If i come back to the TextArea and give ctrl-Z, it doesn’t work. If I simply comment out the code which adds options to the list box in the onChange Event handler, the ctrl-z feature is working fine. Is there any workaround for this??????????

@phpnoviceApr 28.2005 — You would have to code an UNDO feature of your own. Meaning, you would have to record changes in the textarea as they are made. Then, provide an UNDO button which steps back through your recording.
