JS Tab Menu w/ RollOvers HELP!!!!

Hey all,
Love the site!

I’ve got a major problem that I’ve been racking my brain over for the past few days.

I’m trying to build a horizontal tabbed navigation bar. I would like the links to appear HORIZONTALLY in a bar under the row of tabs as seen here:

HERE’s The Problem: The code used on this page is very CSS specific and not very flexible (to my knowledge). I want to change the CSS to fit my needs, but when I do, the layout blows up on me(b/c of the JS dictating the CSS?). Does anybody know of anyway to tweek this script, a link to a cleaner script, or have one of their own that I could use for this effect????

I’m at a loss here…I would like the script to:
1) Upon rollover, change the color of the tab link and display the sub-links horizontally
2) Keep the rollover color ‘ON’ while over the sub-links
3) be able to change the CSS as I please or flexible enough to make CSS changes w/o blowing up the script

HELP!!!!
