Looks like a good start to me. My only comment would be stylistic: if you're going to have a scrollable content area (either via controlled division overflow w/css, as you've done here, or via iframes), you might as well make use of the scrollable area and keep your footer viewable. In looking at your site with Safari, Explorer, Firefox and Netscape I get scrollbars for your #content div and scrollbars for the window itself as well - kind of repetitive. Off to a good start though I'd say.

nevermind.. i see them in IE... what would be the best way to fix this... just make my content div abit smaller??
what i'm trying to do is to have the header and footer show on the screen at all times for most resolutions and then have the content scroll
