i have made a website for a large community group which uses a dhtml drop down menu. unfortunately when the site is linked from another site on the same server, it puts it inside (i think) some kind of frame, and the source code shows up like this:
<title></title><meta name=keywords content=””><meta name=description
content=””><frameset frameborder=0 framespacing=0 border=0
rows=100%,*><frame name=frame
src=
http-equiv=refresh content=”0; url=
href=”
the url changes to name1 and this is the only code you see. unfortunately nobody knows how this was originally set up, and try as we might, we can’t get the menu to show. I think it is because of the above.
is there a way to get rid of whatever is causing this, so that links from the main site go directly to the new site (name2) instead of being put inside this frame thing?
i am a designer not a developer so i’m not sure how this works.
can someone please help me? ?
