need another level of quotations…or something

Hi everyone – I am fairly new with javascript and am trying to make a news scroller work. I got the code from a free site and the scrolling messages are clickable. Here’s my problem: whoever made the code only made the links to go directly to the url. I am trying to add a window.open to the link to have it open in a separate new window but its not working. I think it is because of the nature of the quotations. I have at least three levels in the link and only two types of quotations (” and ‘). Here is the link to the script. The problem occurs at line 12 in the “messages” array.

Any suggestions on fixing this problem (or another way around it) would be greatly appreciated.
