What is everyone using to concept their web sites? Specifically, drawing the site map. I currently use a flowchart program, MacFlow/WinFlow, by Mainstay Software (http://www.mstay.com/fl40_ab1.html). It does a decent job, but the company hasn’t updated it in years. One of my users has WinFlow running on XP, and it crashes every five minutes (literally).
I need to find a replacement, ideally something that’s cross-platform.
@Compguy_PeteApr 14.2005 — #I haven't flowcharted a website in years... if the program works why change it? New and more costly upgrades are not always required.
@cajun67authorApr 15.2005 — #Drawing programs like Freehand and Illustrator really aren't a substitute, IMO... a good flowchart program will cut in half the time to create the map of a large site, easily. And trying to make major revisions to a large Freehand/Illustrator flowchart... yikes, what a mess. A flowchart program will keep everything connected as you drag it around.
