I have a page with dropdown menu and flash, but the menu items are covered by the flash, so I had to display the flash somewhere else in order to leave room for the menu items.
How can I display the menu items on top of the flash ?
@KorApr 14.2005 — #You must have had build the Flash with a transparent background. Anyway, the best solution you have found by yourself: so I had to display the flash somewhere else in order to leave room for the menu items.
Or maybe you don't need that Flash. Except the vectorial design and object rotate, DOM & CSS can do everything Flash does.
Is there anyway can display the menu items on top of the flash coz I need to add more items on the menu and I couldn't move the flash to somewhere else ?

Kathy.
IIRC, this is a "bug" in Internet Explorer. Had not heard or read this about Flash animations, but it is true with Java applets, I-Frames, Select fields and maybe other elements - these will float over everything else and there really is nothing you can do about it. Sorry.
A popular workaround, if you can call it that, is to hide these elements for the moment the menu (or whatever) needs to be floating over them. (flashelement.style.visibility="hidden").
Again - I am not sure that this is the case in your situation, as I had not heard this about Flash.
