text into an image

I have a form on an admin page of a website that lets me input text. I then display that text in different areas of the customer side of the webpage. I want to be able to use some texts that wouldnt work on old browsers to display on the customer pages.

So what I am wondering is does anybody know of a code in PhP, preferably, that would allow me to turn text into an image to display on the user end of the page.
