Web design customer login, almost done!

For those of you that care…

You can check out the program I’ve been working on for the
past 3 days… or was it 4 days… I dunno, but I’m almost freakin’
done!

Client Login:
http://www.gallatinwebdesign.com/webdevcl/
Username: demo
Password: demo

Admin Login:
http://www.gallatinwebdesign.com/webdevcl/admin/
Username: admin
Password: admin

I still have things to do,
like strip mysql from the logins,
encrypt the username/password in the urls,
make an installation program,
clean up the code,
make a config file,
add a decent help page,
and improve the descriptions of things…

Damn, I’m goin to bed, it’s 12:50pm here, and I’ve been working on this
since 7:00 last night. Jesus….

Well, if anyone wants a copy, lemme know, I’ll post a
download URL when it’s all nice and tidy…

Enjoy.

Thanks.

Well, I don't have a job, I just do web-design work every once in a while for

a lot of money. I'm 19, [brag]I own my house[/brag], my total monthly bills are $650....

Lots of free time. I only leave my computer to use the restroom...

Anyway, should I make it an open source project?

You know, get some hosting for it, add a new release every 2 months...

Or is it something that no-one (beside me) will use?

Well, thanks for checking it out!

@buntineApr 12.2005 — I wouldn't bother with the open-source idea. Its a pretty client-specific tool. Just out of curiousity, how do you own a house and pay your bills with no job?

Regards.

@webgovernorauthorApr 12.2005 — Interesting story...

My dad passed away when I was 17, two years ago, he left everything to me.

So, there was the house.

A year later my grandma passed away, she left me some money, which helped

me pay my bills for awhile.

Noe, for money, I do computer related things, I helped a couple of local web-development companies who where slightly short handed, I usally did

the PHP work, (evidentally I suck at designing...), and that seemed to pay more,

so, I do that a couple of times a month, for 30 or so hours per project, which

pays (about) $12/hour (a lot in Montana, USA.)...

So, I even make extra money, plus I still have some in the bank...

I shouldn't say I don't have a job, because when I need money I bother local

design companies for work, like rightnowtechnologies (iloveithere.com) and

techmeridian (techmeridian.com)....

So, now that you've heard my life story......

Oh, what should I change to make it less 'Client Specific' you don't like

the color idea? Should I add more layouts? More colors?

Thanks for the input!

@buntineApr 12.2005 — I don't really know. I just don't think it would be worth your while. But, if you feel it is, go for it.
