It’s not working!

Hello, I am trying to do a crash course in javascript. I used the following reference

I tried to run the example in my own web page by doing the following…..

i) copied the code at

[code=html]http://www.webreference.com/js/column18/code1.html[/code]

into a text file and renamed it “anim.html”.

ii) copied the code at

[code=html]http://www.webreference.com/js/column18/code2.html[/code]

and placed it into another text file and named it “animate.js”.

iii) i futher created images to refer to some lines of code in anim.html.

iv) placed these two files in the same folder along with the images and tried to load.

….Well all that I got was IE security feature that allows you to block content, but on disabling it, nothing happens. Can someone tell me what I forgot to do?
