Website host conflicts with Java Script

I discovered htmlgoodies this week. I have posted the script for scrolling text, slideshow, and dropdown links. They look good but do not function. I suspect a conflict with my web host’s Beacon program. Is there a way to get these scripts functioning? When I post a table, it loads a page sized space above the table. What am I doing wrong?

@BigMoosieApr 08.2005 — JavaScript is executed on the client's machine, so the only way your server would be conflicting with it was if it was specifically created to remove JavaScript from your pages, a link to your page is the only way I can give you more information.
