check for error messages

Howdy~
I have a newer browser and was wondering if there is a wayto check for error messages in the older browsers? I know I have some errors do have some errors in pages do to not having any text yet. So can anyone help me out?

@the_treeMar 31.2005 — You mean scripting errors? If you're using Firefox, then the [url=http://www.chrispederick.com/work/firefox/webdeveloper/]web developer toolbar[/url] has a great javascript console that will ensure your JS is up to standard.

Yes it is scripting errors, and I am using IE and the errors show up in the older versions of IE. Any help?
