Open connection to a file

Hi,
I want to open a connection to a file located at another computer. Does anyone have any idea about this? I made URLConnection but it didn’t hold.

@ray326Mar 30.2005 — If the file is on an SMB share then you can open it with a UNC path, //host/share/dir/dir/dir/file.xml.
