Hello,
I have read this forum forever, but this is the first time I have posted. I have just finished writing out my layout, am pleased with how it appears, it’s basically identicle in various browsers and works in various resolutions, so again am beyond pleased. As it is always recommended, I always go and validate my code, my html validated no problem, and from what I can gather, so did my css. No warnings or errors were reported, but I get getting this message :”To work as intended, your CSS style sheet needs a correct document parse tree. This means you should use valid HTML”.
Hehhehe, yeah….like I really understand that. Sorry errors only. Anywho, I had read through some other threads that suggested using the C&P feature to check your css (I had uploaded my style sheet), and every single time I try to do so, (copy all of my style sheet and paste it in) and click the check button, the page never turns over, like go to the next page to say either YAY, or, Oh hell no. So I am basically asking, as I am so sure I am missing something rediculousley obvious with this interface, how do I go about getting my CSS validated? Would anyone know why the page is not turning over. And lastly what do they mean by use valid html…it is valid, they validated it!
Thanks so very much~
Nickle, who just put a dent in her desk from slamming her head into it.?
