I want to use the <BASE> tag to make the menus on my pages (From a template) work no matter where they are in the site. (What I mean is, whether they are in a folder or not, the links will work the same…) But is Base still OK to use?

@the_treeMar 21.2005 — The <base> tag is used to apply attributes to every other element in the document, it doesn't work from one document to the other.

If you have an externally linked style sheet, then you can link it from every page that has the meus so (so long as the markup is the same) they'll look the same.
