can we found the name of the parent object?

can we find the name of the parent in an element for example:
<form name=’form1′>
<input type=’button’ onclick=’alert(parent_name_that_is_form1)’>
</form>

is there something that we put in place of parent_name_that_is_form1 to get the name of the form.
