email/upload file script

I have a couple of forms/scripts that accept uploaded files and email them to me from the website. These work 100% but to save bandwidth I turned on mod_gzip in apache. With this turned on when I post data in the form and submit it it just returns the form empty as if no data had been submitted rather than the a page saying thanks for your submission. Also the form is sticky but it is sent back empty also pointing to no data having been submitted. Anyone got any ideas why this is happening.

PS I can turn off mod_gzip for these forms/script selectively but I would rather find out what is going on and solve it. Thanks!
