HTML form works on website but not when emailed

I’m preparing an HTML email to our contacts inviting them to join our newsletter. Includes a basic submit form, taking them to registration page on third party site. It’s the same code as I’ve been using our the home page of our website for more than a year. However, testing the HTML email, the submit function doesn’t work. Still looks OK, other HTML links work fine, just not the submit button.

Can anyone suggest why? Could it be the difference in the form action ‘get’ compared with ‘post’? On the website form we use ‘post’, perhaps I need to use ‘get’ for the html email instead?

Thanks in advance for your help!

@FangFeb 24.2005 — The third party site will have told you how to format the form.

If you change anything on the form it will probably not work, especially if you change post to get

@dsilverauthorFeb 24.2005 — Thanks very much for your reply Fang. Well, I went ahead and changed 'post' to 'get' anyway, and it seemed to work after that! Blame it on forms voodoo...
