How to sell off old domain names

I own too many domain names. Some are for my pet websites right now, some are orphaned sites that fell apart from neglect, worse, some are websites I got all excited about doing something with but never did.

The thing is, when they are only $8.95 each at GoDaddy, it’s hard to resist.

I’ve made myself a list of about half of them I wouldn’t feel too bad about loosing.

Is there a way I can sell them or auction them off? How would I go about doing that? How much can I reasonably think of getting and how much minimum should I let it go for?

I think I have some names that have some value to the general public.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
