Getting current date issue – Firefox

I am using this code to get the current date:

//get current date
HoldDate=new Date();
assign_date=(HoldDate.getMonth()+1) + “/” + HoldDate.getDate() + “/” + HoldDate.getYear()

When I use this in Firefox the year is being returned as 105 not 2005?
