Menu
I have a script which I downloaded and I would like to see if I can do something similar. The name of the script is “Slide-In Menu” from GetElementByID.com (I am sure there are many more Slide-In scripts as well, but this was the last one I downloaded). This script hides a menu to the left of the screen and scrolls the menu into view when you mouseover the part that is showing, and also scrolls the menu off screen again when you mouseout.
I would like something similar, but I would like for the menu to hide off the left of the screen adn begin to slide in with onLoad not onMouseOver and scroll about 300 pixels to the right and stop. I don’t need a function for a slide out or onMouseOut. It doesn’t have to be based on the above script I mentioned, but something that would do something similar to this.
I was hoping someone could help me … I have been looking all over and trying to see if I can figure it out on my own, but it has gotten pretty frustrating for about 2 weeks. I have the idea, but just don’t know how to code it.
