option title problem in IE

Is there any way to get title within an option to show up in IE when you go over it with your mouse, like

[CODE]<option value=”7″ title=”Show this in tool tip thing”>Work?</option>[/CODE]

Every other browser shows it fine except IE and thats what all the users of this site will be using!
