Drop Down Menu

Okay, this will probably be easy for somebody to answer. I need to place a drop down menu on an image. Basically when you scroll over the image a drop down menu will appear with whatever links are needed. For the life of me I can’t find something similar to this in the search engine over here … and I’ve searched for almost 1.5 hours on the net with basically nothing to show. If somebody knows of a link to where I can read about it, that would be great. I don’t need anybody to write any code for me, I just need some sort of tutorial that might be online and I can take care of it from there…

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about a <select> tag or a js/DHTML menu? And what exactly do you mean when saying 'I need to place a drop down menu on an image.'? Shall it cover the image or a part of it?
