I posted the following under HTML help and was advised that there was no way to do what I want. Is there javascript that will do it?

Is there a way that when you use the mailto syntax to show 1 email address to the user (eg: <a href=”mailto:someone@somewhere”> ) this is the address that will show in the To: field of the email but I want the email to go to a different address without showing the different address. I want the someone address to show even though it is not a valid address.

Using mailto will always show the e-mail address.

Redirecting the mail to another address, as suggested on the other thread, is the option if you can not use cgi.
