Game Source Code Explanation?

Can someone help and kindly give me a good/detailed explanation of a JavaScript game called Breakout by Nick Young? The only part I kinda understand is that of the blocks which is at the last segment of the source code. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. ?
