Hi all! I am a javascript hobbist, and I’ve recently worked on a little ‘drag and drop’ pseudo class for use on some of my future projects.
I have tested it on Windows XP [COLOR=orange]Mozilla/Firefox 1.0[COLOR=blue]Internet Explorer 6
Unfortunatly I dont have access to other brosers (on other platforms) and I wonder if the script will work on other systems/browsers.
I have recieved some reports, that it did not work on Mac,however I was not able to learn more about the problem.
So far I tried to fix some possible issues.
I’d be still greatful if you tell me whether the script does work on your system/brosers or not.
Here is a simple test page:

The whole code is here:

And because I still did not ask a specific question, here it goes:
1)
I am doing checks for (document.all) and (window.netscape) to handle browser specific stuff. Is there any other browser instances I should worry about? (Ok, I dont care about NN4… it’s seems too ancient to worry about and too much troublesome)
2)
For Internet Explorer.
Is there a way to disable selecting other text on the page while dragging an object?
Many thanks!
