email address from location bar

how can i get the address from the location bar?
i just need to turn it into a variable so it can be submitted with the rest of the form.

address = window.opener.location;

or

address = window.opener.location.href;

address = window.location;

just needed to remove the 'opener' bit.

[b]window.opener[/b] is the reference of the opener page seen from a popup child.

Note, if the objects/methods belong to the window, you may ommit the [b]window[/b] base root, thus you may use simply

location.href
