Site changed, update search engine?

Hello,

I’ve recently changed my domain name from ‘joemaxwellengineering.com’ to ‘joemaxwell[b]–[/b]engineering.com’ with the dash being the only change.

Now I’m getting some good search engine rankings with Yahoo!, MSN and Altavista, but they are all pointing to the first one, [b]how do I update the listings to change the web address to the new one?[/b]

I don’t want to spam by submitting pretty well the exact same web site, but I will be removing the first one soon.

Please help…

@IntensityJan 26.2005 — About the .htaccess file. Most hosting service providers have access to this and you should be able to find it under a category similar to "Redirects"

About DMOZ. If you have a new domain name then you would have to submit it.

About resubmits of domain names: It is asked to wait 6 months and if not yet listed to resubmit again, due to your submission possible being lost or denied.
