Dynamically resizing browser

Hello,

I am a beginner, so forgive me this basic question!

I am using Dreamweaver UltraDev4 (yes, i know it’s old) to create a website. Now that the site is essentially finished, I realize the pages do not dynamically resize when a browser is expanded and shrunk down.

I do not have any frames, but rather simply used table layouts with cells placed within them. Then my content was placed in the various cells.

This was created in Windows and I’ve only tested with an IE browser so far. The site is hosted on a Linux server, which I wouldn’t think has anything to do with my problem.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can provide!

@TrigoltauthorJan 14.2005 — Clarification: When I say I used tables, I meant I used the feature in the "layout design" mode within Dreamweaver called "tables" and "cells". I did not actually write HTML code and design any tables, per se.

@NogDogJan 14.2005 — Somewhere in the HTML generated by the tool, it probably set various width parameters to hard-coded numbers of pixels (such as <table width=600>). If you change those values to percentages, then they will dynamically change with the size of the window (<table width="90%">).

@TrigoltauthorJan 14.2005 — Thanks for the advice...I'll take a look at the raw code.
