? ? ? ís there any way to use txt files in combination with javascript as an database and change the txt files actually?

@Warren86Jan 12.2005 — If you need to create a txt file that will only be used locally, it's can be done with VB and JS, which will only work in IE, but if you want to do this with a published web page, sorry, no luck, you need PHP or another server side scripting language.

@JPnycJan 12.2005 — Sorry, no. I once saw a connection script between JS and a database, but it was a long time ago and it was the only 1 I've seen. It's not used for much beyond validation of fields and DHTML effects.
