Newbie Q: Named Anchors and iFrames

Originally, I posted the following in the General forum. Wasn’t sure which was best.

Ray326 was kind enough to direct me here. If anyone can offer some advice, I’d appreciate it:

Ok – I’m a web-development newbie.

I used the universally derided FrontPage to create this site. Blasphemy, I know. Before writing me off, I have since begun using Notepad, Dreamweaver and Google. I now get why people dislike it. To my question….

On this page: www.specializedohio.com/calendar.htm , the scrolling ‘list’ calendar is a table I created in a separate page and placed inside a frame.

I’m creating a flyout navigation bar with every month of the year in it. What I would like to do is create a link that will open calendar.htm, but scroll to whatever month the user chooses.

I’d envisioned using named anchors to get to each particular month, and I can get the named anchors to work simply enough, but only the calendar list appears – not calendar.htm with the list inside a frame.

I expected this, but don’t know how to take the next step.

Hopefully that makes sense and someone can help.

Thanks

@KorJan 13.2005 — Probably you must position absolute your iframe in a div, than create a piece of code to open/move this div near to the desired elements's absolute position (an anchor or whichever)
