getting my site onto search engines

Hey all,

I’m pretty sure how to go about getting my site onto search engines, but for some reason I haven’t been getting the hits that I thought I would. Could you guys give me some suggestions on how to better promote and list my site on search engines. Is there a specific trick or is it a little of this and a little of that.

  • 1. Drop the framed layout. Searchbots doesn't index that sort of layout very well.


  • 2. Content and linkage. Searchbots love text and craves linkage. The more text (content) you've got the larger a chance of ending up in a search. The more links you have and reciprocal links you get gives you a higher search engine index ranking, which then gives you an increased chance of being found.
