Search Engine Indexing

Hi, can someone help me with indexing all of my pages on search engines? At present, only my main page is indexed but I would like the majority to be indexed. Perhaps it is something to do with my meta tags?

@rsdJan 08.2005 — If your main page is indexed, and it has accessable links to the other pages, they should eventually get indexed as well. Things that might keep this from happening are:

- using a robots.txt file to keep the search engines out of certain areas

- using <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">

- hiding your links in a Flash object

@VacaVauthorJan 08.2005 — Thanks for the info. I removed the <meta robot tag and a few of my pages have now been indexed. Time to start optimizating...anyway thanks once again. V

@IntensityJan 25.2005 — In fact you can prob loose all those tags expect the keywords and description tag and will see no change in indexing or Search Engine Results. Less loading time!!!
