Hello Everyone,

I run a Data Entry Company in India called Data Web Technologies.

We offer professional data entry services to Small Business and individuals.The reason I have started this service is that I found that though there are big players in the BPO market but they provide there services only for bulk and huge projects.Though they do not deny their services to individuals – but they do it at a very high cost. My company essentially bridges this gap by providing services to indiduals and small business who may need data entry done for specific projects or any specific need.Companies who may need to do data entry on particular projects will also find my services to be useful and cost saving.

I know that in order to sustain businesss I need to reach a wide audience but I am not sure how I can do that. This is precisely what brings me to this forum.The topic may be a bit out of course for most of you but I truly belive that you people are indeed very experienced and can help me.Please do let me know how I reach people who may require services like Maintaining of catalog for website, E-book Conversions like Dictionary or Book Conversion, link exchange or inputting records in a custom database.

@scragarJan 07.2005 — the first thing you need to do is make a poll on your site, ask people how they found you, how they rate your servicies and such.

re-evaluate your meta's to get higher in the search engines for both how they found you and where they cannot (if they can't find you then it will have a low number and if it's easy to find you then you want to get rated higher because someones stealing your business).

Then have a look into the ratings of your services, if they hate it ask why, esentialy make people like it, then have testimonials, they often raise the number of visitors registering by around 25%. don't be afraid to say this was changed because people like seeing things like "some people had trouble so we rearanged it".

change what people dislike and make what they like more prominant.

And finaly ensure your in all the top search engines(google, lycos, yahoo, msn, altavista...).

This is basic marketing stuff so you might want to make a thread in the Ecomerse board or something.

of course, your site cannot survive if you don't get your name out. you have to advertise, and in places that are likely to attract the type of clients you want.
