Stop downloading the document

Hi everyone~
does anyone know that is there any function that can stop downloading the document? some kind of function simular to the windows.stop(). However windows.stop() only works on netscape~
i have been search for this for like the whole day~ but i couldn’t find anything about that~ thx for helping!
